Vics wanted to know if expressing breastmilk was painful. Well like breastfeeding, it's not if you do it right. It's also easier to get right than breastfeeding because there's only one person in the mix instead of two, one of which just wants to get a hold of your nips as fast as possible and sod the correct technique.

However, while expressing may be relatively easy, it's certainly not dignified. In fact if you use an electric pump rather than a manual one, you do start to feel a strong kinship with a prized dairy cow.
