There were actually two questions this week but one of them is a repeat for newer members and I’ve already answered that one. So here’s the other one:
What is your opinion of Internet "freebies?"
I have actually downloaded quite a few freebies, although all of them have been from the sites of designers whose designs I have bought. These freebies tend to be just as good quality as the designs available for purchase, just smaller and sometimes slightly simpler.
I have seen many other free designs available on other sites and the quality has been extremely variable and very few of them have been to my taste. That said, if you are new to the craft and are looking for simple designs to try then there’s plenty to be had for free online.
